The Maritime Artist Mixer, hosted by Not Your Average Arts, is a networking event for artists, aspiring artists, and individuals interested in the arts. We welcome you to attend our second mixer and first of 2019 on Saturday, January 19 - starting at 1pm.

Rick resides in Quispamsis, NB. When he finished coaching his sons, Ryan and Matthew, for many years through minor hockey, he found some free time to take on something new. Rick has always had an interest in wood carving. He began carving lessons with Bob Carney in St. Andrews, NB and quickly developed a new passion.
Rick enjoys carving wildlife including birds, fish and whales. he also experiments with more abstract pieces.
Rick has entered carvings in the annual New Brunswick Wood Carving Competition Show and Sale in 2016, 2017 and 1018, and has received numerous awards for his work.
